One of the best looking American cars of the ‘70s. That sounds like a dig, but I actually do like the Cordoba.

The design definitely took balls and perhaps a pinch of Grade A Colombian. I imagine that a T-top Cordoba as nicely optioned as the one pictured would be a real pleasure to drive every day, and likely wouldn’t be a pain judging by its underpinnings. Had the ‘79 “300” models kept the distinctive early front fascia, I think it would truly represent a high water mark in terms of personal luxury coupes. Doubtful that I’ll ever spot a Cordoba in person, though.
